Just… Just chip at it, ya know?
Look objectively at what you’re feeling.
Try to recognize the isms and factors that are making you feel that way.
And then try cutting them out and remind yourself why they’re bad and who wants you to think that way :> Just take it case by case. Blog by blog. Day by day.
It’s really tough, and it’s taken myself… 3 years? to get to were I am, and I still mess up on occasion.
The good news is you’ve already recognized you have it.
You’ve realized you’re not a special snowflake.
And that’s about the hardest step to be honest.
But give it… say 6 months? And you’ll already start to see a huge improvement in how you see yourself and others :>
It’s not fast an it’s not clean!! There are a lot of things that try to reinforce that misogyny and hatred, but surround yourself with feminists and feminism that make you feel good and more appreciative… and you’re well on your way!
